We are a support organization dedicated to research aimed at curing diabetes at its root. We promote the development of complete cures and diagnostic drugs for diabetes and its complications, and help fund clinical trials.

Current Situation and Challenges of Diabetes

  • Approximately 537 million people worldwide live with diabetes, and this number is expected to increase to 783 million by 2045.
  • Diabetes is difficult to cure and typically requires lifelong management.
  • Rising treatment costs are placing a heavy burden on healthcare systems globally.

What Is a Complete Cure for Diabetes?

  • Our research has discovered “diabetes stem cells”, which are the root cause of the disease, and is focused on their elimination as a method for true recovery.
  • By combining HDAC inhibitors with insulin, our approach may make complete remission of diabetes achievable.
  • We have identified abnormal hematopoietic stem cells (BMDCs) that persist in the body and sustain diabetes—cells that cannot be removed by existing treatments.

Biozipcode: Next-Generation Drug Delivery System

  • Utilizes a unique 7-amino acid sequence to deliver drugs specifically to target cells.
  • Minimizes side effects while optimizing therapeutic efficacy.
  • Unlike conventional medications, it does not affect healthy cells.

Developing a New Diagnostic Method for Diabetes

  • We are working on a novel diagnostic technology that does not rely on blood glucose levels, but instead detects the presence of diabetes stem cells.
  • This approach will enable more accurate diagnosis of diabetes.

Clinical Trials and Insurance Coverage

  • Based on current research progress, we are preparing for physician-led human clinical trials.

  • Clinical trials for a complete cure of diabetes require enormous funding.
  • Researchers, including university professors, have personally invested over ¥200 million, but their capacity is limited.
  • Large-scale funding (often in the range of ¥10 billion) is typically needed—something usually achievable only by major pharmaceutical companies.
  • To accelerate the development of a groundbreaking, side-effect-free treatment, we are seeking support from the public.
